2017 was a special year for me with two museum exhibits. On June 29 "Painting Red Rocks Country, Past and Present" opened at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia.
Beautifully presented, the exhibit featured the work of historic Masters, Edgar Payne and Maynard Dixon, and the Red Rock Country paintings of G. Russell Case, Matt Smith, Ray Roberts and myself.
It was truly a blessing and an honor to be a part of this outstanding exhibit.
Below are a few photographs to give you a taste of what it was like if you were not able to see the show, which ended October 8.
I am also sharing a few of my paintings that were in the exhibit, check out the posts below.
I will be having an more events at the Booth Western Art Museum this year. Click here to learn about my upcoming workshop in partnership with the Booth Art Academy.
The second exhibit I had in 2017 was "Stormy Weather: Western Atmospheres" held at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona from May 27 through October 8. I was thrilled to be exhibiting alongside Ed Mell, Merrill Maheffy, Myrna Harrison and Jessica Garrett.
"Light Shines Through" was one of my paintings exhibited now available through Studio Gallery.
